What is Cloud Strategy Research?
Cloud Strategy Research is open-source AI investment research software for individual investors. Local-first records, clear sources and user-confirmed AI requests bring market observations, research materials, holdings and watchlists into one desktop workspace.

From market context to specific questions
- Markets and sectors: explore A-share, Hong Kong and US markets, indices, breadth, capital-flow summaries and a full-screen sector heatmap. Market selection stays consistent across related research views.
- Stock charts: switch between intraday, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly periods. Candlesticks start at 25 bars and zoom from 25 to 200, with full-screen views and percentage changes based on the visible range.
- Fund research: browse All, Equity, Mixed, Bond, Index, QDII, ETF and LOF categories. Review disclosed net asset value (NAV), managers, fees, allocation, disclosed holdings, announcements and historical NAV curves.
- On-demand data: market data uses built-in Local mode, prioritizing Eastmoney. Lists load by page; full-market synchronization is an explicit action with a draggable, collapsible progress window.
Open-ended fund NAV is dated by disclosure, while exchange-traded ETF and LOF prices carry quote timestamps. These measures remain distinct. Missing fields stay empty; upstream failures preserve same-source local cache. Coverage and refresh timing depend on upstream interfaces.
AI assistance. Your control.
The research agent supports multi-turn conversations, streaming responses, stop controls, conversation search, pinning and renaming. Look up stocks and funds, select watchlist items and relevant notes, then review the outgoing materials. Selecting materials alone does not call a model.
Manage providers, models and default models for assistant, briefing and analysis tasks. Options include OpenAI-compatible services, Gemini, DeepSeek, Doubao, Qwen, Zhipu and locally configured Ollama. Availability depends on the chosen service and account.
Preview note revisions before replacing or appending them, and explicitly save briefings and analysis reports. Request logs reflect actual calls; conversations are stored encrypted locally. Remote models receive the materials you confirm, and their output still needs verification against original sources.
Keep your records and your reasoning
Maintain holdings and watchlists through real instrument search. Notes preserve questions, sources and assumptions. Local SMA, EMA and RSI calculations help describe history; they do not replace validation or execute trades.
Quote monitoring supports eligible instrument price rules and system notifications. It requires the app to be running, alerts to be enabled and valid fresh quotes to arrive continuously. Open-ended fund NAV is not used for intraday price triggers.
Built for everyday local research
Notes, holdings, watchlists, conversations and model credentials are stored in an encrypted local workspace. Import and export support local data management; cache merging fills missing records without overwriting existing same-source entries. Back up important materials regularly.
The desktop supports Chinese and English, light and dark themes, global search and a collapsible sidebar. It centers on local research rather than account-based cloud synchronization. Email and WeChat preferences are local settings, not automatic cloud delivery.
